50th Anniversary of Jerusalem’s Reunification

After generations of being neglected, bombed, divided and abandoned – the Jewish people have changed the course of history and embraced their 3000 year old capital city once again. Now, fifty years since reunification, Hebrew is heard once again around the old city walls, the Temple Mount and the Western Wall. Under Israeli rule, the reunited city has been completely rebuilt and its gates have remained open to all people ever since, without prejudice of faith, race or gender.
